This is a normal part of the planter’s quality and does not constitute a defect. The surfaces are not perfectly finished; slight color variations or occasional different shades are not grounds for a complaint.

- For outdoor use, a drainage hole must be drilled in the planter; for indoor use, do not plant directly into the container (use a plastic liner – most planters have liners available separately).
- For better water drainage, we recommend purchasing a set of support feet.
