This is a normal part of the planter's quality and is not a defect. The planters are not perfect on the surface, slight color variations or occasional different shades are not grounds for a complaint.

- For outdoor use, it is necessary to drill a hole in the planter; for indoor use, do not plant directly into the cover (use a plastic liner - available for most planters as an extra purchase).
- For better water drainage, we recommend purchasing a set of support feet.
- The planter has a double bottom, making it possible to use the planter as a tall window box.
- Black planters gradually lose their black color over time. The manufacturer recommends applying a special oil two to four times a year to maintain and restore the color; the oil can be purchased in the accessories section.
