Telescopic Parasol Fortero, Glatz, Square 300x300 cm
The FORTERO® model by Glatz is a real strongman: a highly wind-resistant parasol with exceptionally easy operation.
It is suitable even for very windy locations and wherever a large parasol is needed. It is telescopic and especially suitable for heavy-duty use. We offer warranty and post-warranty service and spare parts for Glatz parasols.
Parasol canopy:
- option no.1 – 100% polyester 220 g/m2 (grade 2 quality), natur colors (light cream), protection level UPF 50+
- option no.2 – 100% polyester 250 g/m2 (grade 4 quality), colors according to the swatch, protection level UPF 50+
- option no.3 – 100% acrylic 300 g/m2 (grade 5 quality), colors according to the swatch, protection level UPF 50+
The current Glatz color swatch is available in our showroom or can be sent to you by email in pdf format.
Parasol pole/frame:
- pole diameter: 55 mm
- material: aluminum
- screws and rivets: high-quality stainless steel
- finish: anodized aluminum
- color: anodized surface (silver)
- "Self-tensioning" at the ends of the ribs: perfect tensioning of the parasol canopy—the canopies of Glatz parasols always remain perfectly taut even after years of use
- opening and closing: telescopic opening system; the counterweight principle ensures very easy use. Simply pull the lever down and snap it onto the pole.

Suitable accessories and add-ons:
- stand: minimum load 90 kg (not included with the parasol)
- parasol can be anchored in the ground – a suitable anchor must be purchased separately (not included with the parasol)

- total height (from the bottom edge of the pole to the highest point of the parasol, closed): 315 cm
- total height (from the bottom edge of the pole to the highest point of the parasol, open): 260 cm
- height from the bottom edge of the pole to the lower edge of the parasol roof (when open): 205 cm
- minimum size of concrete base when anchoring the parasol in the ground: 70x70x40 cm (LxWxH)
