Molteni D.150.5

The D.150.5 relaxation armchair from the Heritage collection, designed by Gio Ponti and reissued by Molteni&C in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives, is one of his few outdoor furniture pieces. The elegant shape is based on the continuous line of the side, which connects all the parts – the backrest, seat, armrests, and leg rest – into one whole. Also characteristic is the gentle rounding between the seat and backrest, taken from Ponti's 1953 designs. Solid teak emphasizes the quality of craftsmanship, while cushions with a polyurethane core and a cover made of recyclable polyester ensure comfort and durability for outdoor use.
