Due to handmade production and demanding handling (especially true for medium and large jumbo pots), the pots may have scuffs, minor or moderate scratches. This is a normal part of the pot’s quality and not a defect. The surface of the pots is not perfect, and minor color variations or occasional different shades are not grounds for a complaint.

- For outdoor use, a drainage hole must be drilled in the pot; for indoor use, do not plant directly into the container (use a plastic liner – available for purchase for most pots).
- For better drainage, we recommend purchasing a set of support feet.
- Black pots will lose their color over time. The manufacturer recommends applying special oil 2–4 times a year to maintain and restore color; the oil is available in the accessories section.
