Atelier Vierkant

Atelier Vierkant is a family art manufactory based in Belgium. The Janssen family has been producing art flower pots for more than 25 years. Their works are a significant part of many architectural projects all over the world and can be called transgenerational. The difference between commonly available flower pots and those from Atelier Vierkant is enormous.
A handmade fired clay flower pot will serve its owner for his entire life without color or quality changes, it can be passed on to the next generation. This is not mass production or a serial product. They are actually sculptural pieces for house and garden. Unique is also the clay that Atelier uses, coming exclusively from specific areas in Germany and being carefully selected for its quality and characteristics. Production of flower pots and garden solitaires Vierkant is very demanding and each piece undergoes a long process of production from coloring the clay, hand shaping, sculpting up to drying, which takes even weeks, during which it is regularly checked and possibly reshaped until the final firing in unique kilns. No two pieces are alike. Each has its own story.


Color versions: according to swatches:
- swatch no.1: basic colors (dyed body/clay - 9 colors), color BLACK is always +10% surcharge to basic price
- swatch no.2: color surcharge paints (mostly projects/special models, on display at us)

Structure/surface: standard bestselling smooth rough structure base (listed prices on web) + special surface finishes (to see in catalog) - always upon order and for surcharge to flower pot price (contact us for offer)

For outdoor use it is necessary to have a hole in the flower pot, our stock pieces have a hole from production, when ordering it is necessary to indicate this requirement in the order

Production time of custom-made flower pots is currently between 4-6 months depending on the type of flower pot.

The manufacturer in some cases reserves the right to minimum order quantity for the order.

Stock flower pots: selected models of flower pots in various sizes and colors are permanently in stock. They can be seen at our showroom or contact us for a list with current availability. For these flower pots, the minimum order value does not apply.
